International travelers whose only objectives of their visit to India are recreation, tourism, visiting friends or relatives, short-term medical treatment or business stay. 
the passport must be valid for at least 6 months on the date of arrival in India. Make sure your passport contains 2 blank pages for the visa and associated entry stamps issued by the immigration officer. 
International travelers must have a return ticket or a continuation ticket, with enough money for their expenses during their stay in India. 
International travelers with a Pakistani passport or from Pakistan must apply for a regular visa from the Indian Mission; 
Not available for Diplomatic / Official passport holders; 
Not available for individuals added to a parent's / spouse's passport; 
Not available to holders of International Travel Document.
